Our Collections

Our collections are developed and maintained with the goal of informing, entertaining, involving and inspiring library users. We aim to ensure as diverse a collection as is practicable given the space restraints of the library and by recognising local user demographics.

Children

Our goal is to support a love of reading so we are not a ‘shush’ library! The children’s area includes book bins at child friendly heights, bean bags and a sun-drenched window seat.

Displays

The entrance foyer features a themed display of books that are available for borrowing from the display.

Artwork, including photographs, multi-media paintings, textiles, local projects and craft, by local artists is displayed year round on the library walls. Children’s artwork is hung in the children’s area.

The RSA display in the foyer is permanent in recognition of their generosity.
