Welcome to Māpua Library

Picture
Welcome to the Moutere Hills RSA Memorial Library, known simply as the Māpua Community Library. We are an entirely volunteer run facility funded by grants, donations and fund-raising events.

We are a registered charity and we appreciate any donations however small, all of which go towards purchasing new books and our small operational cost. Any donations of over $5 are eligible for a New Zealand charitable giving tax credit. If you would like to donate, the easiest way is through our Givealittle page, which can be found by following the link; givealittle.co.nz/org/mapua-community-library

Anyone can join the library and it is free to join. All that is needed is an alternative contact at a different residential address. Pop in during opening hours to complete a membership form and start borrowing.

If you are visiting Māpua, you are welcome to become a temporary member.

Books are issued for a period of three weeks and magazines for two weeks. There are no borrowing charges or overdue fees but the pink pig welcomes donations when overdue books are returned!

We look forward to welcoming you to our library.
